Our Services
We carefully select new projects to ensure that working together will bring both us and our clients joy. Our ideal projects are extensive renovations or new builds involving a holistic approach to the space including interior architecture as well as finish, fixture, furniture, and accessory selections. We also keep an eye out for unique projects that allow for experimentation, innovation, and extra sparkle.
Idea.
We begin by defining the goals that will be the foundation of the design — what is imagined for the place to become, in both style and use. We establish these elements with a preliminary scope of work, projected schedule, and estimated budget. This studied introduction allows us to be most efficient in our design work ahead — to develop ideas directly toward what is required and to meet those goals.
Schematic.
We explore the elements that will define the character of the design — from the sense of place, light, plan, material, palette, and other foundational features and ingredients. Preliminary plans, sketches, and samples and are presented and iterated on. From these studies, we build a comprehensive package, a design bible, that will inform all of the decisions to come.
Development.
We advance the design to greater dimension and refinement. A drawing set is prepared of detailed plans and elevations, and all specifications are identified, including any technical needs. At the same time, we present ideas for furnishings, fabrics, lighting, carpets, and window treatments, as well as art and objects — all considered in concert. Renderings are generated to bring the design to vivid life.
